Founded in 2018 UWA Aerospace provides students studying at the University of Western Australia an opportunity to gain hands on experience with complex engineering challenges.

The team places a high importance on the diversity and inclusion of every member. At the moment, the team is comprised of many people from various backgrounds and experiences.  With also a large mix between Bachelor, Honours and Masters students, the group’s progression into the future is certain. In addition, they are actively promoting women in STEM and engineering, and are working towards having a complete mix of genders within sub teams in the coming years.

The team regularly delivers presentations to professionals, students and members through events such as UWA Open Day, school and UWA student outreach events, and presentations at global conferences and events. They also produce regular publications such as reports, theses and videos.
