Exciting development in WA's space capability.
The launch of the International Space Centre (ISC) on 28 Jan was attended by prominent Ministers and MPs, industry representatives and established research leaders. Speakers included Senator the Hon Linda Reynolds CSC, Minister the Hon Dave Kelly, UWA Vice-Chancellor Prof Amit Chakma and UWA Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) Prof Tim Colmer.
This launch marked our first step in building an internationally recognised centre that empowers UWA’s research, education and engagement in the space sector to advance the space frontiers of the 21st century.
